One night I had a dream" X* B+ d. C3 H4 R3 b
I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
1 G7 p  \! G( ^6 d7 K6 tAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life.% c6 I9 t0 R) q5 |8 V
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
, _) u: X7 p' y, g6 Q4 e% {one belonging to me7 Q( J* t+ e/ ]$ R. B( o  `* R
and the other to my Lord.
# s' U  e$ }$ f8 @" k, x) PWhen the last scene of my life shot before me. [0 ~( L+ Y, j2 i6 E- n7 I
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
4 Y; v: e! ^: y( ^! ]There was only on set of footprints.
$ E3 H' _- M5 V, A, @( \I realized that this was at the lowest
7 D- L. K; A: d) U8 Q1 r8 uand saddest times in my life.
  g, |8 w& G0 J. r' F% g5 hThis always bothered me : }5 e0 {/ ]: ]2 f6 O. I
and I questioned the Lord- A: b7 N" j, ^
about my dilemma.
# g3 ]/ k2 m5 q/ p"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,* H4 {! v  X" R2 g. y: O; f+ U3 `
You would walk and talk with me all the way.
# K9 p% ^5 m' K7 vBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome # O4 W0 g5 E1 d9 j3 ~, J
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.# X. s. F! Q4 y5 G  I+ b& R
I don't understand why, when I needed You most, ! l+ B3 t8 Z: t& u" m% Y; \
you leave me."1 q3 s4 I+ n. _
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,' _# k6 I  W2 u9 Y5 i6 F) ?/ L
I love you and will never leave you
! i+ ~! J; p# `7 P5 `! }2 unever, ever during your times of trial and testings.
