Footprints in the Sand( Y8 r* I1 h! K- f+ A

I was walking along the beach with my Lord.2 y9 C: t% t3 F( q* K6 @( X
Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. # R* Q6 d8 @) aFor each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, 9 z4 P- N5 i% z# Mone belonging to me N' P6 `! o. H, i/ j
and the other to my Lord.+ N+ v: `$ Y* k& m
When the last scene of my life shot before me5 o. ?* e' N2 |$ V0 J9 }7 k" P0 d
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.6 T# a, a" h+ d
There was only on set of footprints. / h0 y9 V: t% I$ Q& z2 II realized that this was at the lowest 3 \( r5 W: O" o6 P B) r' e& q5 O
and saddest times in my life.$ v7 T6 G" U" G3 \$ j
This always bothered me " @" ` p% G$ i- z
and I questioned the Lord( D0 G+ K Z- p6 L( \9 i/ f
about my dilemma. ; _+ S7 W5 U9 ?0 }"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,4 ^2 L, P1 ?& e0 ~) V, h5 | D/ J$ Q
You would walk and talk with me all the way.* k8 E, S: K" L# F
But I'm aware that during the most troublesome 2 | S; ~/ A6 y$ F4 d O2 h
times of my life there is only one set of footprints. , G1 S% c6 H" q$ a! QI don't understand why, when I needed You most, 0 _) k% {( s% _+ b
