One night I had a dream
# C8 h+ o# X" R. h& q0 kI was walking along the beach with my Lord.
4 ?1 d0 w  U6 R7 z: k( ]9 qAcross the sky flashed scenes from my life., R5 v, p) k+ N
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,$ c; W. @& B4 Y: u
one belonging to me  A; I+ w4 A; k+ Q* C9 E
and the other to my Lord.* Y+ c0 S6 E* R9 ~; m3 }
When the last scene of my life shot before me  t& w) E5 D4 E& H* K
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
( b% C- ]4 o) ]. E  aThere was only on set of footprints.
6 H' D2 h3 V$ o8 c. p, R( OI realized that this was at the lowest : j# s2 ?' H" E+ m5 _
and saddest times in my life.
" E5 S: x. U) n* X' B* }0 WThis always bothered me & T1 p  I; ]- |- b5 r1 O0 t7 W
and I questioned the Lord0 ?" F$ H9 L8 N6 y
about my dilemma.% Q9 f) H# d! l; M
"Lord, you told me when I decided to follow You,
0 V3 C* a6 P3 r. Y: V+ Z/ a1 Z/ N" _9 E4 MYou would walk and talk with me all the way.
3 C! C6 L. m2 A& dBut I'm aware that during the most troublesome : W# x$ C$ A/ u5 J8 ~
times of my life there is only one set of footprints.# V/ {9 W0 Y& i2 G
I don't understand why, when I needed You most,
! X7 S/ ^( T+ r" Q0 u% _' _you leave me."" ^1 v# O( m8 C+ N2 I4 ?
He whispered,  "My precious, precious child,
